Eureka's New Chiropractor
Dr. Jack O’Lantern
We would like to introduce everyone and give a warm welcome to our new Chiropractor Dr. Jack O’Lantern. Dr. Jack was born in Ireland but moved to the states with his parents when he was only five years old. Shortly after the move, Dr. Jack started getting chronic ear infections and always seemed sick. This was the first time he visited a Chiropractor. After only a couple visits, his ear infections cleared up, he slept better, and was better behaved in class. From this point on, Dr. Jack new what he wanted to do: be a Chiropractor for kids.
After getting his degree in health education from Transylvania University, Dr. Jack attended Logan College of Chiropractic where he studied closely under Dr. Jack Skellington; one of the profession’s leading pediatric Chiropractors. Under Dr. Skellington, Dr. O’Lantern learned the importance having children under regular Chiropractic care. Dr. Jack puts it like this:
“Your nervous system controls everything in your body, all the way down to a cellular level. What we do as Chiropractors, is make sure there is no interference in your nervous system. This is particularly important in growing children. Making sure they have a clear and function nervous system gives them the opportunity to grow strong and healthy.”
Some of the most common issue pediatric Chiropractors see include:
Chronic Ear Infections
Dr. Jack is excited to be serving the community of Eureka, MO. One of the reasons Dr. Jack picked Eureka is because of the Fright Fest at Six Flags and the Scarecrow festival the Eureka hosts every year. He enjoys moonlight walks, trick-or-treating, and hay rides.
